The U.S. Navy has awarded Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) a potential five-year, $1.76B contract to support company-made products for the Department of Defense, U.S. Coast Guard and the intelligence community.
DoD said Friday the company will provide engineering services to help software developers and other product teams utilize knowledge database, tools, source code as part of the department’s Enterprise Software Initiative.
Microsoft will perform tasks at various locations worldwide through Jan. 10, 2024.
