BAE Systems has secured positions on two indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contracts worth more than $151M combined to integrate and sustain command, control, communications, computers, combat, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance systems for the U.S. Navy.
The company said Monday it will offer life cycle sustainment support for communications technology platforms that support the Navy, the departments of Defense and Homeland Security, Special Operations Forces and non-DoD agencies via the five-year, $83M LCS CONUS contract.
For the second contract, which has a $68M ceiling value over five years, the company will support production and integration of C5ISR systems that NAWCAD intends to deploy on air-based platforms and militarized vehicles.
BAE added it will provide support services for fixed and rotary-wing aircraft, mobile and fixed-base stations and large command centers worldwide.
Work under the second IDIQ will primarily take place at NAWCADs Special Communications Rapid Integration Facility in Maryland and the Fleet Readiness Center in Florida.
Mark Keeler, vice president and general manager of BAE’s integrated defense solutions unit, said the company seeks to help address a U.S. military communications capability gap and support front-line troops who perform national security missions.
