Oshkoshs (NYSE: OSK) defense business has received a $1.7B contract modification to provide 6,107 Joint Light Tactical Vehicles and 22,166 associated kits to the U.S. Army.
The Army exercised available options under a previously awarded contract and obligated the full amount of the modification at the time of award, the Defense Departmentsaid Tuesday.
DoD expects the company to finish work by Sept. 30, 2019.
Oshkosh was awarded a potential $6.7B JLTV contract in 2015 to replace the High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicles of both the Army and the U.S. Marine Corps.
