Darren Kraabel
Darren Kraabel, formerly senior vice president and general manager of mission solutions for aerospace, technology, environment and nuclear business at Jacobs Engineering Group (NYSE: JEC), has elevated to the role of chief technology and innovation officer.
His appointment is part of the companys expansion efforts in the professional services market, Jacobs said Tuesday.
Kraabel will leverage the companys connected enterprise systems strategy, knowledge of client applications and experience in analytics, cybersecurity and networking platforms delivery to help advance Jacobs value creation initiatives and transition into a data-driven provider.
He has led the delivery of information technology, intelligence analysis and cybersecurity platforms and services to clients and managed business development efforts to broaden the companys tech portfolio since joining Jacobs.
Kraabel served in the U.S. Air Force for 10 years prior to his move to the Dallas-based technical professional services firm.
