Rebecca Hazard, former vice president and associate general counsel at Riverbed, has been named general counsel and corporate secretary of the information technology firm.
She will oversee legal and trade compliance functions in her role as general counsel, the company said Monday.
In her previous capacity, she led a global team focused on licensing, partnerships, original equipment manufacturer agreements and intellectual property matters.
Hazard joined Riverbed early last year after she worked as an attorney at Kirkland & Ellis LLP‘s technology and IP transactions practice.
Before that, she was an associate at OMelveny & Meyers LLP.
