Boeing (NYSE: BA) has received a $152.5M contract from the U.S. Navy to update a sensor technology designed to help F/A-18E/F Super Hornet pilots locate targets at a long distance.
The company will design, develop, integrate and test the Block IIInfrared Search and Track system as part of an engineering change phase, the Defense Departmentsaid Friday.
Work will occur through December 2021 in Orlando, Fla., and St. Louis, Miss.
