Brendan Curran, formerly president of Crane Co.s aerospace and electronics group, has been named president of a Boeing (NYSE: BA) business organization that produces avionics and electronics systems.
The more than 20-year aerospace industry veteran will lead the AvionX organization and Boeing’s aftermarket strategy across the defense, commercial and services businesses in his new position, the company said Monday.
He will report directly to Stan Deal, president and CEO of Boeing Global Services.
Before he joined Crane in 2015, Curran served as vice president of business development, strategy and partnerships for commercial engines at United Technologies Corp.s (NYSE: UTX) Pratt & Whitney subsidiary.
