Chris Marzilli
Chris Marzilli, president of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) mission systems business and a 2018 Wash100 winner, has been elected to serve as executive vice president of the companys information technology and mission systems segments beginning on Jan. 1.
He will succeed Dan Johnson, who is due to retire at the end of this year, General Dynamics said Tuesday.
Marzilli has played a pivotal role in building the mission systems business and in this new role, he will ensure both businesses continue to expand and meet the needs of our customers, employees and shareholders, said Phebe Novakovic, chairman and CEO of General Dynamics and a 2018 Wash100 awardee.
Christopher Brady
Marzilli served for eight years as president of the Falls Church, Va.-based aerospace and defense contractors C4 systems business prior to assuming his current role in 2014.
He held program management positions at GTE Government Systems, which General Dynamics purchased in 1999.
Christopher Brady, VP of engineering at General Dynamics Mission Systems, will replace Marzilli as head of the GDMS business.
Prior to his current role, he served as general manager of the firms assured communications systems business and head of radio products.
Brady was previously affiliated with a Motorola (NYSE: MSI) division, which became part of General Dynamics following its acquisition in 2001.
