Air Force Taps Leidos for Potential $620M F-16 Avionics Product Support Integration Contract

Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) has won a potential five-year, $620 million from the U.S. Air Force to provide single-point services for an F-16 avionics support integration program.

The Defense Department said Tuesday Leidos will serve as the independent, prime non-manufacturing product support integrator at advanced, rackmount and improved avionics intermediate shops that maintain the multirole fighter aircraft.

The company will also help manage AIS automated test equipment parts and ancillary support platforms, as well as sustain and procure test program set system hardware and software.

Work will occur at USAF bases in Utah and Georgia and support seven major commands of the service branch along with 23 military participants from across Europe.

The Air Force Sustainment Center received three offers for the firm-fixed-price requirements contract via a full and open competition.

The Pentagon expects the company to complete services by July 24, 2023.
