American Ordnance and General Dynamics‘ (NYSE: GD) ordnance and tactical systems subsidiary have won positions on a five-year, $511.2 million contract to provide 60mm, 81mm and 120mm mortar propelling charges to the U.S. Army.
Both contractors will vie for task orders under the firm-fixed-price contract and will perform work through May 24, 2023, the Defense Departmentsaid Friday.
The Army Contracting Command received three bids for the procurement effort via the internet.
