Serco Group‘s U.S. subsidiary has won a potential five-year, $232 million contract to help the Naval Facilities Engineering Command maintain and integrate electronic surveillance systems.
Reston, Virginia-based Serco Inc. will provide life cycle sustainment, acquisition and integration support for Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection Naval Electronic Surveillance Systems under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, the Defense Departmentsaid Wednesday.
The company will also provide technical services to NAVFAC, program executive offices, other DoD agencies, the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Marine Corps and other government programs when needed.
The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific received three proposals for the IDIQ via a competitive procurement on the FedBizOpps website and SPAWAR’s e-commerce portal.
Locations of work include operational platform and shore-based sites and training facilities across the continental U.S., Alaska, Hawaii and overseas.
The IDIQ has an initial value of $135.8 million over three-year base period that runs through April 17, 2021. Work could extend through April 17, 2023, if all options are exercised.
DoD noted the Navy will obligate procurement and operations and maintenance funds upon the issuance of each task order.
