John Pereira
John Pereira, intelligence industry leader for defense and intelligence at IBM‘s (NYSE: IBM) global business services unit, has been named an intelligence community fellow at the IBM Center for The Business of Government.
IBM said TuesdayPereira will lead the center’s thought leadership activity related to the government intelligence enterprise and offer recommendations to help intelligence officials manage programs.
He retired from the CIA after a more than three-decade career that has included time as director of the agency’s support directorate.
His government service awards include the 2013 Distinguished Presidential Rank Award, the CIA’s Distinguished Career Intelligence Medal and the William J. Donovan Award for Excellence.
He also served as an ex-officio member of the National Intelligence University’s Board of Visitors and a member of the Learning Innovations Laboratory at Harvard University’s Graduate School of Education.
Pereira previously worked at AECOM (NYSE: ACM) as vice president of intelligence community strategy and operations.
