Esina Alic
Esina Alic, who served as a vice president at Insitu between 2007 and 2015, will return to the Boeing(NYSE: BA) subsidiary as president and CEO, effective April 5.
Insitu said Tuesday Alic oversaw global operations, corporate strategy, international growth and partnerships during her career at the unmanned aerial systems maker.
Insitu said Tuesday Alic previously held a variety of executive roles within Boeing such as those concerning marketing, strategy and global sales.
Chris Raymond, VP and general manager of autonomous systems at Boeing and a 2018 Wash100 recipient, said he believes Alic’s global experience, strategic vision and passion towards Insitu customers will help accelerate the subsidiary’s growth efforts.
She previously served as senior VP of global operations, strategy and programs at Adidas and held senior executive roles at multiple Fortune 50 and startup companies.
Alic spent nearly two years at Boeing as an executive responsible for global services business and unmanned systems sales.
She will perform her duties as Insitu president and CEO in Bingen, Washington.
