Ted Fordyce
Ted Fordyce, vice president of government relations at Elbit Systems (Nasdaq: ESLT) U.S. arm, has assumed the additional role of VP for the subsidiarys Washington operations.
Fordyce will serve as Elbit Systems of Americas liaison to the White House, Congress and federal agencies such as the departments of Homeland Security and Defense in his expanded role, the company said Monday.
He will facilitate engagement with industry, government organizations and military branches and advance the companys priorities.
Raanan Horowitz, Elbit Systems of America president and CEO, said Fordyces appointment will help the company deliver novel platforms to the countrys homeland security, military, medical instrumentation and aviation clients.
Fordyce joined Elbit’s U.S. arm in 2015 after a 27-year career in the U.S. Air Force.
His military career included time as director of legislative affairs for the U.S. Special Operations Command; vice wing commander for the 1st special operations wing; 16th special operations squadron commander; and senior military assistant to the assistant defense secretary for special operations/low-intensity conflict.
