Harris (NYSE: HRS) has received a potential $84.4 million contract from the U.S. Air Force to engineer Advanced Integrated Defensive Electronic Warfare Suite systems for multiple foreign military sales customers.
The Defense Departmentsaid Friday Harris will perform work under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract at a company facility in Clifton, New Jersey, through Sept. 28, 2022.
Harris’ AIDEWS is equipped with radar warning and radio frequency countermeasures systems and used by allied F-16 aircraft operators in close air support, enemy defense suppression and battlefield area interdiction operations.
Georgia-based Air Force Life Cycle Management Center is the contracting activity.
