Kirk Herdman
Kirk Herdman, formerly executive vice president of corporate strategy at KeyW(Nasdaq: KEYW), has been named EVP of corporate strategy and business development at the Hanover, Maryland-based contractor.
KeyW said Friday Herdman succeeds Michele Cook, who will leave her role as business development EVP to pursue other career goals.
He previously served as EVP and chief strategy officer as well as senior VP for business development and operations at Sotera Defense.
Herdman also held various leadership positions at Wyle Information Systems, General Dynamics‘ (NYSE: GD) advanced information systems business and ManTech International (Nasdaq: MANT).
He earned his bachelor’s degree in applied mathematics from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and completed the Executive Training Program on Leadership Change at University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business.
