Mark Fisher
Mark Fisher, formerly vice president and general manager of Schafer‘s aerospace business, has joined Dynetics as program manager for space hardware within the applied science company’s space systems division.
Dynetics said Tuesday Fisher brings approximately 30 years of aerospace industry experience in program management, flight operations and propulsion systems design, analysis and test.
Kim Doering, manager of the space systems division, noted that Fisher’s background will help drive Dynetics’ space hardware product delivery to both government and commercial customers.
Fisher, who also led Schafer Aerospace‘s operations in Huntsville, Alabama, has previously worked at Dynetics’ propulsion department as manager after the company acquired Orion Propulsion, where he was VP for programs.
He also served as a program director for missile refurbishment at Miltec and held various positions at NASA‘s Stennis Space Center, Jet Propulsion Laboratory and Marshall Space Flight Center over a 15-year career as a civil servant.
