George Krivo
George Krivo, chief operating officer of DynCorp International since October 2016, has been promoted to CEO at the McLean, Virginia-based government services contractor, effective immediately.
DynCorp said Friday Krivo is a nine-year company veteran who previously oversaw profit-and-loss account for the firm’s contingency operations, operations and maintenance and intelligence and training functions.
He succeeds Lou Von Thaer, who has been hired by Battelle to serve as president and CEO of the Columbus, Ohio-based nonprofit company beginning Oct. 1.
Krivo joined DynCorp as VP of land systems and later served as corporate senior VP of business development and strategy.
He previously worked as VP of advanced programs at Science Applications International Corp.‘s (NYSE : SAIC) land systems business and as a P&L executive at DRS Technologies.
He served in the U.S. Army for more than 20 years in various command and staff positions.
