Stinger Ghaffarian Technologies has landed a potential eight-year, $1.12 billion contract from NASA to provide mission systems operations support at the Johnson Space Center.
NASA said Friday the indefinite-delivery-indefinite-quantity contract encompasses technical, managerial and administrative services for spaceflight programs.
SGT will also provide assistance to the International Space Station Program that covers international partner and commercial visiting vehicles and the Orion, Space Launch System and Commercial Crew programs.
The base contract period will occur from Oct. 1, 2017 through Sept. 30, 2019 and work could extend until Sept. 30, 2025 if all options are exercised.
Greenbelt, Maryland-based SGT offers engineering, mission operations, scientific and information technology services to federal government agencies.
