Cal Shintani
Cal Shintani, formerly chief growth officer of Oceus Networks and a 30-year government information technology veteran, has been appointed to the same position at citizen experience IT company HighPoint Global.
HighPoint said Tuesday he will oversee capture, business development, merger-and-acquisition and growth initiatives at the Reston, Virginia-based company.
“As we continue to help our customers improve their interactions with citizens, we are looking for ways to expand our work beyond traditional citizen experience contracts into all of the areas that are part of the digital experience with an organization,” HighPoint CEO Ben Lanius said.
“Cals role is to uncover these opportunities to expand our footprint with current customers as well as new ones to further the impact we can have on improving citizen experience with government,” Lanius added.
Prior to Oceus, Shintani worked as a senior vice president and operating group manager at CACI International (NYSE: CACI). He also held growth strategy, BD and profit-and-loss responsibilities at Gray Hawk Systems, Unisys (NYSE: UIS), BTG and Veridian.
He served as a submarine officer at the U.S. Navy for seven years before he entered the private sector.
