ManTech International (Nasdaq: MANT) has secured a potential five-year, $229 million task order to provide business intelligence support services for the U.S. Customs and Border Protection‘s office of information and technology.
The task order was awarded through the Department of Homeland Security‘s Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading-Edge Solutions II contract vehicle and covers intelligence analysis, predictive modeling, project management and threat research support services, ManTech said Wednesday.
The company will support CBP officers and border enforcement personnel in efforts to identify cargo, conveyances and individuals that may pose a threat to the country.
ManTech will also help the agency conduct terrorism analysis and global assessments, determine emerging targets, evaluate intelligence-based targeting rules and special operations as well as coordinate analysis and targeting efforts.
Dan Keefe, president and chief operating officer of ManTech’s mission solutions and services unit, said the company aims to provide information that will help CBP OIT analyze and visualize threat affiliates, targets and trends.
