PAE has secured a potential five-year, $71 million contract from the State Department‘s Bureau of Overseas Building Operations to provide continued support to the American Embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan.
The company said Wednesday that it will continue to help the State Department run and maintain the AEK facility as well as designated U.S. government satellite properties across Afghanistan under the contract.
“We are proud to continue our support for the complex and critical diplomatic mission in Afghanistan,” said PAE CEO John Heller.
“PAE has provided specialized operations, maintenance and security support services for the U.S. governments critical infrastructure for over thirty years,” Heller added.
The AEK building houses multiple federal agencies such as the departments of the Treasury, Justice, Agriculture and Transportation as well as the U.S. Agency for International Development.
