Dell said Monday it will support 1, 850 on-site and remote users and also provide first-call resolution services for an estimated 250, 000 customers worldwide to aid the NSF in its mission to continue advanced technology support for worldwide researchers and staff.
George Newstrom, president of the Dell Services Federal Government business, said the company works to help NSF fulfill its research and education mission through technology and IT services.
The company added it will provide desktop, laptop and tablet support to NSF under Federal Acquisition Regulations and procedures on competitive and non-competitive negotiated acquisitions in addition to the maintenance and management of the NSF Customer Relationship and analytics environment.
