Belcan, a portfolio company of private investment firm AE Industrial Partners, has purchased Intercom Consulting & Federal Systems for an undisclosed sum in a push to help address customer demand for information technology security platforms and services.
Belcan CEO Lance Kwasniewski said in a statement released Wednesday the purchase aims to help expand Belcans efforts to serve global clients in the most sensitive, mission-critical assignments.
Cincinnati, Ohio-based Belcan provides technical staffing and engineering consultancy support to clients worldwide.
Lansdowne, Virginia-based Intercom is an employee-owned company that provides enterprise-level IT platforms and services to government and commercial clients in the areas of cybersecurity, systems architecture and engineering, enterprise management and network engineering.
PwC acted as a financial adviser to Belcan and AE Industrial Partners in the transaction, while McLean Group served as a financial adviser to Intercom.
Kirkland & Ellis and Greenberg Traurig respectively served as legal advisers to Belcan and Intercom in the deal.
