Marisa Daley
Marisa Daley, formerly executive vice president of corporate business development at MIL Corp., has been promoted to chief operating officer at the Bowie, Maryland-based government services contractor.
Daley will report to CEO Maurice Long Jr. and will be responsible for the companys business strategy, operations and human resource functions, the company said Monday.
“Since the day she came onboard, Marisa worked tirelessly to gather intelligence on every aspect of our operation here at MIL in order to truly understand how to move us forward, Long said.
Daley, a 20-year federal government sector veteran, is founder and former president of economically disadvantaged woman-owned, small business HPT Advisory Services.
She worked for nearly seven years at PwC as director and lead of the Atlanta-based federal team that supported the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
She also held management roles at BearingPoint and KPMG and served as a consultant at Capgemini.
Daley is a certified Project Management Professional and sits on the board of directors of Spark Ventures.
