ViON Names Lee Shabe Cloud Solutions VP; Tom Frana Comments

Lee Shabe, formerly president and general manager at L-3 Communications™ (NYSE: LLL) national security solutions unit, has joined ViON as vice president of the cloud solutions program management office.

Shabe will be responsible for pricing, program management and delivery of ViON™s cloud platforms and as-a-service offerings, ViON said Wednesday.

Tom Frana, ViON president and CEO and an inductee into Executive Mosaic™s Wash100 for 2016, said Shabe would help the firm facilitate the delivery of cloud platforms and related services to its clients.

The 20-year intelligence and defense industry veteran helped L-3 NSS, which is now part of CACI International (NYSE: CACI), develop commercial sales and go-to-market strategies for the firm™s commercial products and services.

Shabe previously worked at defense contractor Tiburon Associates as a solution architect before he moved to Data Tactics Corp., where he served as a vice president.

He spent four years as a special agent at the U.S. Air Force™s office of special investigations and six years as an investigative associate at the International Justice Mission.

He is a member of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association.
