Radiance Technologies has acquired XL Scientific, a research and development company operating as Verus Research.
Radiance said Monday the acquisition of the Albuquerque, New Mexico-based company is part of its commitment to deliver tailored scientific and engineering technologies that enhance national security and warfighter capabilities.
Boosting Defense & Nuclear Science Capabilities
The recent development enables Radiance to integrate Verus Research’s expertise and resources, bolstering its capabilities to provide innovative offerings to its customers in the Department of Defense and the intelligence community. Both companies will significantly reinforce their capabilities in cybersecurity, data science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, energy, space, test and training, prototyping, and other domains. Furthermore, Verus Research’s nuclear science capabilities will expand Radiance’s advanced defense portfolio and client base.
Enhancing Customer Relationships
The two companies will leverage their established relationships within the DOD and other programs to expand their business through new opportunities and cross-collaboration. Despite the acquisition, Verus Research will continue its operations to maintain service continuity and offer new capabilities to its customers.
“Radiance continues to invest in our future and the future of our customers,” said Bill Bailey, CEO of Radiance. “By joining forces with Verus Research, we add richer capability in a range of cutting-edge defense technologies while fostering our employee-ownership culture,” he continued.
Grady Patterson, CEO of Verus Research, stated, “Becoming a subsidiary of Radiance brings an unmatched depth of capability to our customers whose mission is to protect our great nation. Our companies have aligned values and mission-mindedness that serve our customers’ interests.”
