Nathan Reed Named Digital Transformation VP at L3Harris Technologies

Nathan Reed shared on LinkedIn Monday that he has been appointed vice president of digital transformation at L3Harris Technologies

In his new role, Reed will oversee the development and execution of the company’s digital strategy, including driving innovation, optimizing business processes, enhancing customer experience and boosting operational efficiency. He will collaborate with segment executives to align digital strategy with business needs to strengthen core capabilities.

Reed will also lead the development of tools and processes across the enterprise while allowing the flexibility for necessary customization. In addition, he will also serve as the executive leader for all IT mergers and acquisitions, divestitures and the IT Project Management Organization.

Who Is Nathan Reed?

The seasoned IT executive has nearly three decades of experience in the consumer products, defense contractor and law industries. He brings a proven track record of spearheading applications, infrastructure and IT project teams across various locations and developing budget-sensitive and high-visibility projects throughout their entire lifecycle.

Reed has been with L3Harris Technologies for over six years, most recently as the senior director of IT. He managed the end-to-end delivery of technology offerings to the company’s communication systems and space and airborne systems business segments. Reed was also a member of the L3Harris senior executive staff, responsible for establishing and executing strategic and operational plans while overseeing major IT program implementation.

The executive came to L3Harris through the merger between L3 Technologies and Harris, where he held IT director and senior manager positions. He was also with Harris RF Communications for eight years as IT manager, information systems program manager, business analyst and network engineer.
Reed spent over four years at Phillips Lytle as senior network administrator and systems analyst. He also briefly worked at Xerox also as a systems administrator.
