The U.S. Navy awarded a combined $990 million contract to 12 companies for the procurement of construction services in support of the Pacific Deterrence Initiative program.
The Department of Defense said Thursday the selected contractors include:

Multiple Award Construction Contract Details
The firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract covers construction and repair services, including exercise-related construction, unspecified minor military construction, U.S. Code Title 10 security cooperation and other repair projects within the area of operations of the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command, NAVFAC, Pacific.
Under the $1.3 million firm-fixed-price task order awarded to Sea Pac Engineering, the Los Angeles, California-based company will be responsible for the design and construction of a command-and-control facility and interagency fusion center. The project will be conducted in Isabela, Philippines and will run through July 2026.
The rest of the selected contractors were awarded a $10,000 minimum contract guarantee.
NAVFAC Pacific, as the contracting activity, will allocate the whole contract value to Sea Pac Engineering, while $110,000 will be obligated to the other awardees at the time of the award. The budget for the contracts will come from the fiscal 2024 unspecified minor military construction funds. Additional funding will be provided with each task order. The contracts have a maximum duration of 96 months and are expected to be completed by April 2033.
The contracts were awarded through a competitive online process, resulting in 16 submitted proposals. The 12 awardees are eligible to compete for task orders as defined in the awarded contracts.
