The Air Force previously solicited proposals for the TETRAS II test system support in 2022. The RFP indicated that the contract is intended to develop and enhance testing systems and facilities of the 96th Range Group and other Department of Defense clients.

The initial contract is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2028.
