General Dynamics Information Technology has named veteran industry executive Theresa Urban vice president of the company’s Assisted Acquisition Center of Excellence.
In a LinkedIn post announcing her appointment, Urban said she will lead a team that supports all four of GDIT’s divisions.
“I welcome the challenge. Looking forward to rolling up my sleeves and getting to work,” she added.
Theresa Urban’s Career Highlights According to her LinkedIn profile, Urban most recently served as VP of defense growth initiatives at GDIT.
In 2019, she joined GDIT after spending nearly five years at Deep Water Point as a principal.
The GDIT executive founded 1406 Group in 2014 to provide full business development lifecycle support for federal contractors.
Urban previously worked as an account manager at SRA International and held program director roles at IDL, InfoPro and INDUS.
