IT platforms provider Smoothstack has launched a new business unit, called Fedstack, focused on addressing the technology consulting needs of federal agencies, government institutions and other public sector entities facing tech and workforce development challenges.
“Fedstack provides technology consulting as well as workforce solutions, making us an ideal partner for major consulting firms working with large government agencies, especially for skills-based workforce development,” Chris Coligado, executive vice president at Fedstack, said in a statement published Wednesday.
“Our unique offering at the intersection of technology consulting, workforce scaling and partner training services is well positioned to answer the current needs of federal agencies,” added Coligado.
What Does Fedstack Do?
Fedstack is a tech platforms and services provider focused on working with federal agencies and system integrator partners to help address challenges in five areas: data and artificial intelligence; application development; digital platforms; infrastructure; and cybersecurity.
The federal arm of Smoothstack has advanced major transformational programs across 25 federal agencies and departments and delivers talent development and strategic consulting support to agencies and strategic partners.
Fedstack has teamed up with Partner Training Solutions, which offers customized training programs to upskill experienced talent with the latest knowledge and skills for the evolving tech landscape. Training programs include cloud, systems engineering, data and AI, agile and DevOps and low-code and no-code technologies.
The business unit’s Talent Scaling Solution uses Smoothstack’s hire-train-deploy approach to scale up workforces.
