Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH) has added Aimee George Leary to its leadership team. The McLean, Virginia-headquartered firm said Tuesday in a post on LinkedIn that Leary, who currently serves as executive vice president, will also now oversee talent recruitment and retention strategy and culture transformation as chief people officer.
She succeeds Betty Thompson, who stepped down from the CPO role in July after over 16 years at Booz Allen.
Leary is a long-time Booz Allen leader with over two decades in the company. Prior to becoming CPO, she was the IT consulting and services provider’s talent strategy officer in charge of delivering a comprehensive employee value proposition.
According to Booz Allen, Leary played an important role in making the company a leading employer with high employee experience scores and steady headcount growth.
