Accenture (NYSE: ACN) said Monday its subsidiary will deliver agile design, development, testing and maintenance capabilities to introduce mobile and cloud-based technologies and help TSA Security Operations improve existing applications as part of the Flexible Agile Scalable Teams BPA.
Anthony Pinheiro, managing director and TSA lead at Accenture Federal Services, said the company will use commercial off-the-shelf technologies to help TSA SO enhance the efficiency of its operations.
TSA SO oversees checkpoint and baggage screening at 440 airports nationwide and coordinates transportation security operations at more than 280 airports globally.
The FAST contract has an ordering period of five years.
