Booz Allen Names Roy Kitchener, David Gaedecke Senior Executive Advisers for Defense

Former military service members Roy Kitchener and David Gaedecke have been appointed senior executive advisers at Booz Allen Hamilton‘s (NYSE: BAH) global defense business.

Both veterans bring decades of military experience and will provide advice to Booz Allen’s leadership team on the development and delivery of new capabilities for global defense customers, the company said Wednesday.

Kitchener, a retired U.S. Navy vice admiral, will advise Booz Allen on the maturation of defense capabilities such as joint fires, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and logistics to help advance defense mission outcomes.

His Navy service includes time as commander of Naval Surface Forces, commander of Naval Surface Forces Pacific and commander of Naval Surface Force Atlantic.

Gaedecke, a retired Air Force major general, will serve as a member of Booz Allen’s Digital Battlespace Platform and global defense business leadership teams.

He most recently served as vice commander of Sixteenth Air Force (Air Forces Cyber) at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland in Texas.

“Both Kitchener and Gaedecke bring extensive experience that will prove invaluable in addressing the Department of Defense’s most complex mission challenges,” said Judi Dotson, president of Booz Allen’s global defense business and a 2024 Wash100 awardee.
