Michael Langman has transitioned to the role of vice president of commercial aerospace & defense sales and business development at SparkCognition , where he previously served as VP of strategy, sales and business development for its government systems business.
He announced his move to the multi-industrial corporate parent of SparkCognition Government Systems via a LinkedIn post Friday.
Langman’s industry career includes time working as a corporate development/M&A executive at the former Rockwell Collins company, managing director at The McLean Group and senior director of corporate business development at Thales ‘ U.S. business arm. Prior to joining SGS, he was a vice president at D-Fend Solutions .
Earlier, he served with the U.S. Army for five years. He held the rank of captain at the military service branch before moving to the industry.
