Chad Ho Named Lumen EVP, Chief Legal Officer

Chad Ho, a veteran legal professional at publicly traded companies, will assume the position of executive vice president and chief legal officer at Lumen Technologies (NYSE: LUMN) in June.

He will succeed Stacey Goff, a 26-year Lumen executive who has led legal and public policy functions, the technology company said Monday.

After Ho’s appointment, Goff is expected to stay with the company for a few weeks to facilitate a smooth transition.

“Chad’s innovative and proven experience with large public companies and his ability to fuel growth in the technology sector makes him the perfect person to guide Lumen through its ongoing transformation,” said Kate Johnson, president and CEO of Lumen.

“I am confident in Chad’s ability to bring unique insights and drive results. In addition, his ability to motivate is a great cultural fit for this company,” added Johnson.

Ho most recently served as chief legal officer at travel technology company Sabre (Nasdaq: SABR).

His career included time serving as general counsel at Hulu and overseeing legal for the global business operations of Walt Disney’s (NYSE: DIS) television networks and streaming services.

He has a juris doctorate degree from Harvard Law School and a bachelor’s degree from Stanford University.
