Washington, D.C.-based Crimson Phoenix provides mission-critical capabilities and services in the field of artificial intelligence, machine learning, digital and data enablement, intelligence targeting and analysis, software development and cybersecurity to help U.S. Special Operations Command and the Intelligence Community meet their mission requirements, Godspeed Capital said Monday.
“The acquisition of TekMasters and Seaford represents our continued commitment to investing in capabilities and resources to support our core Intelligence Community customers,” said Crimson Phoenix CEO Ross O’Rourke.
“The addition of these two well respected companies brings us over 120 highly cleared employees with expertise in software engineering, data science, financial consulting, business intelligence and program management,” added O’Rourke.
Latham & Watkins acted as Godspeed Capital’s adviser in the transaction, while The McLean Group served as Seaford Consulting’s exclusive financial adviser.
The acquisition came nearly three months after the private equity firm launched Crimson Phoenix as an intelligence services platform.
