AWS Secures $50M Space Force BPA for Launch Cloud Services

Amazon Web Services has been awarded a potential five-year, $50 million blanket purchase agreement to provide the U.S. Space Force with commercial cloud products and professional services to support launch missions of the Space Launch Delta 45 and 30 units.

The award covers the provision of infrastructure- and platform-as-a-service offerings to enable secure unclassified and secret cloud capabilities, and edge devices to host unclassified information at Impact Level 4, according to a notice posted on SAM.gov.

AWS will help manage the SLD 45/30 commercial cloud environments that support secure development, testing, quality assurance, staging, troubleshooting and production activities on unclassified and classified levels

The BPA has a base period of one year and four option years. It was issued under an existing General Service Administration Information Technology Schedule 70 contract.
