He has over 15 years of experience in the defense contracting industry, mostly serving in various roles at L3Harris and the businesses that eventually formed it.
One of Kurian’s earliest jobs was as a systems engineer at Geospatial Systems, which became ITT Corp. and later Exelis, which was acquired by the former Harris company in 2015.
In 2019, Kurian was director and chief engineer of space superiority at Harris, before its merger with L3 Technologies. Under the new, consolidated company, he became senior director and GM of the space control division, and later the space superiority segment.
Kurian has a master’s degree in electrical engineering at Stevens Institute of Technology in New Jersey.
