Cherokee Federal Awarded DHA HQ Support Contract

A Cherokee Federal business will support various functions at the Defense Health Agency headquarters under a four-year, $44 million contract.

Cherokee Nation Defense Solutions will help DHA develop future plans for its clinical support division and clinical quality management branch, the Department of Defense’s Patient Safety Program, and DOD offices for health affairs and services policy, the Pentagon said Friday.

HQ support work under the firm-fixed-price contract comprises administrative, analytical, programmatic, technical and care management services.

The work will occur in Falls Church, Virginia, through Aug. 19, 2027.

DHA issued the award through a non-competitive direct 8(a) acquisition process and will obligate fiscal 2023 Defense Health Program operations and maintenance funds.

A tribally owned small business, Cherokee Nation Defense Solutions offers threat assessment analysis, mission assurance and all-source intelligence analysis services to the government.
