Accenture Federal Services’ Bill Marion Appointed to Chair 4×24 Leadership Group 3 for Third Consecutive Year

Renowned private and public sector leader Bill Marion will continue to serve as the chair of Executive Mosaic’s illustrious 4×24 Group 3 Leadership.

The 4×24 leadership program is a long-running organization that establishes and enriches an executive-level fabric between some of the brightest minds and most successful change-makers in the government contracting industry. Centered around a monthly dinner series, the program presents a consistent series of meetings — with a refined yet relaxed atmosphere — during which its members forge new connections, exchange ideas and learn from its compelling guest speakers. Find out how you can be a member at 4×24’s webpage.

Group 3 features an imposing lineup of some of the most accomplished C-suite company and department leaders in the industry. This year, Marion continues his time at the helm of the group for the third consecutive year, inspiring his already well-regarded group mates to challenge each other to be even better.

“It’s truly an honor to be appointed chairman of the Leadership Group at Executive Mosaic for a third year. The concept of digital transformation encompasses a sometimes unmanageably broad spectrum of technological imperatives for our industry and government executives,” Marion remarked. “Coming together to address meaningful action, innovation and modernization in a truly collaborative environment is a unique and valuable opportunity — and will help shape investments, industry focus and empower our federal leaders.”

Marion has been with Accenture Federal Services for nearly three and a half years, since May 2020, as managing director. Previously, he rose the ranks through various positions in the U.S. Air Force for the better part of three decades, holding positions such as chief technology officer of Air Force Space Command and deputy chief information officer for the entire service branch.

“Throughout his career spanning senior and consequential executive roles in the public and private sectors, Bill has amassed a wealth of knowledge on technological innovation, modernization and leadership,” said Jim Garrettson, CEO of Executive Mosaic and founder of the 4×24 leadership series. “We look forward to yet another exciting, informative and collaborative 4×24 dinner season with Bill at the helm of our executive leadership group.”

Marion has garnered recognitions such as the Exceptional Service Award from the chief of staff of the Air Force, as well as the Packard Award for Excellence in IT, issued by the Department of Defense. 4×24 is made up of esteemed and elite members such as Marion and is an invaluable opportunity for those who want to engage more deeply with the industry.
