Travis Johnson, a finance professional in the government services industry, has been appointed chief financial officer at Amentum.
He succeeds former Amentum CFO Charlie Mathis and will oversee all financial aspects of the business, from accounting to strategic planning, the company said Monday.
Johnson most recently served as senior vice president, corporate controller and chief accounting officer at CACI International (NYSE: CACI).
He also held the CAO role at FLIR Systems and KeyW and spent nine years at Leidos (NYSE: LDOS), where his roles included operation CFO and finance director.
The James Madison University grad started his career at accounting firm RSM.
“As part of our senior leadership team, [Johnson] will play an important role as we drive towards our growth strategy of modernization for the U.S. government and our allies around the world,” said John Heller, CEO of Amentum and a 2023 Wash100 Award winner.
