Mainthia Technologies Awarded $155M Contract to Help Maintain 2 NASA Facilities

Mainthia Technologies, a space systems operations and engineering company, won a potential $155 million contract to provide maintenance, operations, repair and institutional services to two of NASA’s facilities.

The contract is intended to support the Neil Armstrong Test Facility in Sandusky, and the Glenn Research Center at Lewis Field in Cleveland, Ohio, the agency said Saturday.

Under the terms of the agreement, Mainthia will be responsible for O&M and repairs of central process systems equipment at Lewis Field.

The company will perform work on the facility’s high-voltage electrical substations, institutional structures and grounds, and cryogenic systems. It will also process the certification of all pressurized vessels and systems at the facilities.

NASA said the award has a base performance period of two years and three option periods of one year each, ending Sept. 30.
