Boeing Awarded $216M Air Force C-17 Landing Gear Support Work

Boeing (NYSE: BA) will help the U.S. Air Force manage landing gear spares for the C-17 Globemaster military transport aircraft under a $216 million contract modification.

The award, part of an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, involves foreign military sales to seven countries and the NATO Airlift Management Program Office, according to a Department of Defense notice.

Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, India, Kuwait, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates are the FMS clients.

USAF’s Air Force Life Cycle Management Center in Georgia is the contracting activity on the award.

The company will primarily perform the work in Long Beach, California, and is expected to complete services by Sept. 30, 2024.
