Blake Nelson Named T-Rex National Security Growth VP

Blake Nelson, a two-decade federal information technology market veteran, has joined IT services provider T-Rex Solutions as vice president for national security growth.

Nelson will oversee business development, capture and growth initiatives within T-Rex’s national security business with a focus on supporting the departments of Defense and Homeland Security and other federal agency clients, the company said Wednesday.

His industry experience covers work on cloud and emerging technologies, systems integration and business transformation initiatives in support of federal government customers.

“Nelson will complement our team of top-tier leaders and strengthen our ability to expand our support to the National Security mission,” said Leslie Hubbard-Darr, executive vice president of national security accounts.

Prior to T-Rex, Nelson was VP of platforms and cloud solutions at Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC).

He also held leadership roles overseeing cloud platforms and other IT services at several tech companies, including Pragmatics, Accenture Federal Services, Beacon Associates and iConstituent.
