Chenega Lands Spot on $200M Interior IDIQ for Business Support Services

A subsidiary of Chenega‘s professional services strategic business unit was awarded a spot on a potential $200 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract from the Department of the Interior for business support services.

According to a SAM.gov award notice, Chesapeake, Virginia-based Chenega Services and Federal Solutions will provide the Bureau of Indian Affairs with human resource, acquisition administration and other business administrative support.

India Affairs is responsible for maintaining relationships with Indian tribal governments and facilitating support for it and its people. The agency spearheads federal Indian education programs while prioritizing law enforcement and economic development efforts for tribal communities across the U.S.

Chenega PS-SBU, on the other hand, delivers a range of support to federal government civilian agencies. Aside from the Interior, the company supports the departments of Energy, Justice and Homeland Security.

The notice did not specify the place of work performance but indicated that the contract has options that, if exercised, would raise it to its ceiling amount. Another SAM.gov entry shows that there are 19 awardees on the IDIQ.
