Army Posts Draft Solicitation for Weapon Assessment Analytical Services Requirement

The U.S. has released a draft request for proposals for a potential $99 million multiple-award contract covering analytical services to support the assessment of fielded non-nuclear munitions.

The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract will have ordering period of five years and will support the Joint Technical Coordinating Group for Munitions Effectiveness in target vulnerability analysis, kinetic and non-kinetic weapons effectiveness studies and target descriptions, according to a notice posted Wednesday on SAM.gov.

JTCG/ME is looking for companies to define the vulnerabilities of enemy targets, conduct weapon system effectiveness analysis, perform weapons effects tests and detailed experimental investigations and provide general technical support to current operations and joint live fire program efforts.

The contracting effort will focus on weapon system types such as surface, sub-surface, air, cyber and space.

Responses to the draft RFP are due May 10.
