Tom Lash, a three-decade federal technology market veteran, has been named CEO of Annapolis Junction, Maryland-based IT contractor Meadowgate Technologies.
He will be responsible for aligning the company’s strategy with the demand for system architectures and support services within the national security sector, Meadowgate said Monday.
With Lash at the helm, Meadowgate co-founders Brian and Leslie Cooleen intend to support the company’s business development efforts and provide oversight of support functions as executive leadership team members.
Lash previously served as general manager of national security and federal delivery at Amazon Web Services in the past six years.
Before joining AWS, he held vice president and group chief technology officer roles at Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) from 2013 to 2017.
Most of his career was spent at Science Applications International Corp. before the company split into two independent publicly traded contractors, with the larger half adopting the name Leidos.
