Greg Myers, former vice president of federal sales at Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT), has been appointed to the advisory board of Ventech Solutions to advise the company on market growth trends and opportunities.
He will join new member Mark Tomaino and returning members Penny Thompson and Ken Scalet, Ventech said Tuesday.

Myers is an operating partner of investment firm Cota Capital and previously spent nearly 13 years at Microsoft, where he led sales, operations, partner and technical teams.
Tomaino serves as an operating partner at Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe and oversees due diligence, portfolio monitoring and investment origination in the health care technology sector.
Thompson is an independent consultant that advises clients on government health policy and operations. She formerly chaired the Medicaid and CHIP Payment and Access Commission and held a deputy director position at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
Scalet is an industry veteran with 35 years of business development and program management experience. He previously served as a partner at Accenture and interim CEO of the Cancer Support Community.
